Refund and cancellation policy

Last updated 31 August 2026. Effective from 31 August 2026.

Short version: cancel any time in one click, and if you are within 14 days of paying, you get all of it back.

1. Cancelling

Cancel from Settings at any time. It takes the same number of steps as subscribing did. There is no phone call, no retention queue and no email you have to send.

Cancelling stops the next renewal. You keep full access until the end of the period you have already paid for, and your automations keep running until then.

2. Right of withdrawal — EEA, UK and Switzerland

If you are a consumer in the EEA, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you have a statutory right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days of entering it, without giving any reason.

Withdraw from contract

That page shows your contract details and a confirmation button. On confirming you receive an acknowledgement by email immediately, and we refund the full amount to the same payment method you used, within 14 days.

We do not ask you to waive this right. Some services ask you to agree that performance begins immediately so that the right lapses. We do not, because a fourteen-day refund is cheaper than an argument.

3. Everyone else

We apply the same 14-day full-refund window worldwide, whether or not your law requires it. If you are within 14 days of a charge and you want your money back, use the same button.

Annual plans: beyond the 14-day window we refund the unused whole months pro rata if you cancel, less any discount that was conditional on committing for the year.

Monthly plans: beyond the 14-day window we do not refund part-months, because you keep access for the rest of the period.

4. When we refund without being asked

  • We terminate your account for a reason that is not your breach — unused prepaid period refunded.
  • We make a material change to the terms or the price that you do not accept — unused prepaid period refunded.
  • Meta permanently withdraws the functionality you subscribed for — unused prepaid period refunded.
  • You were charged twice, or charged after cancelling — refunded in full, and please tell us so we can fix the cause.

5. What is not refundable

  • Periods already used, beyond the statutory withdrawal window.
  • Accounts terminated for breach of the acceptable use section of the terms.
  • Taxes already remitted to a tax authority, where that authority does not permit their recovery. Our merchant of record handles this and will tell you if it applies.

6. How refunds are paid

Refunds go to the original payment method through Dodo Payments, our merchant of record, using the same means of payment you used. We do not charge a fee for a refund.

Card networks typically take a further 5–10 business days to show the credit. That part is not in our hands.

7. Chargebacks

Please contact us before raising a chargeback. A chargeback costs both of us money and takes longer than us simply refunding you, which we will do. Accounts with an unresolved chargeback are suspended until it is settled.

8. Trials

The trial is free and requires no card. Nothing is charged when it ends; the account simply moves to the free plan. There is nothing to cancel and nothing to refund.

9. How to ask

Use the withdrawal page, or email hello@inyourdm.com with the email address on the account. We reply within two business days and process approved refunds within 14 days.
